Behind the Project That Took Home the Lutron Award

We’re proud to share that Elite Automation won the 2025 Lutron Excellence Award for Best Renovation/Retrofit Project. The award, announced live at CEDIA Expo in Denver, recognizes standout global projects using Lutron retrofit technology.

Our winning project? A peaceful hilltop home in Redmond, WA, surrounded by orchards, where the homeowners wanted lighting that could shift naturally with the sun. The goal was to support wellness, enhance comfort, and integrate beautifully into their existing space. We brought in Ketra fixtures and a Lutron lighting control system to set up natural light automation that mimics the natural rhythm of daylight indoors, along with Palladiom shades for privacy and control.

It was all retrofitted into the original architecture, using paint-matched Sunnata keypads and existing fixtures—no major demolition or rebuild required. Just thoughtful, intelligent light that fits the way they live.
